Job Title: Golf Shop Attendant - Seasonal
Department: Parks and Recreation
Reports To: General Manager
Open Date: 01/10/2025
Close Date: Open Until Filled
Salary Range: $15.00 to $18.63 per hour, DOE


Job Summary:
This is seasonal position, up to 8 months in duration. Working hours include weekdays, weekends on-call hours and some holidays. Hours may also include early mornings and late evenings.

Under the supervision of the General Manager, the Golf Shop Attendant will provide a friendly, high level of customer service to customers of the Golf Shop and Cart Barn.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Works in the Golf Shop;

Cleans, stocks and organizes shelves with product;

Collects monies and assists customers as needed;

Cordially provide information and directions to golf course patrons and general public;

Assists with a variety of tasks in the Golf Shop and golf course.

Complete tasks in a timely manner;


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Operate cash register and calculate change accurately;

Knowledge of the game of golf and golf products;

Understand and comply with all rules, policies and regulations;

Ability to exercise independent judgment; perform basic math calculations;

Interact with the public and co-workers in a friendly and professional manner;

Display an attitude of cooperation with all levels of city employees, the general public and other organizations

Communicate effectively;

Ensure consistent and timely attendance, adhering to the established work schedule.


Licensing:

Possession of valid State of Idaho driver's license and safe driving record.
