Job Title: Cart/Golf Shop Attendant & Player Assistant - Seasonal

Hiring Wage: $13 per hour

Job Summary:
This is seasonal position, up to 8 months in duration. Working hours include weekday, weekends on-call hours and some holidays.

Under the supervision of the Assistant Golf Professional, the employee will provide a friendly, high level of customer service to customer of the Golf Pro Shop and Cart Barn.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Works in the Golf Pro Shop and Cart Barn;

Cleans, stocks and organizes shelves with product;

Collects monies and assists customers as needed;

Picks up ball on the driving range;

Cleans golf carts and readies carts as needed;

Other assorted task around and in Golf Pro Shop and Cart Barn.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of the game of golf and golf products;

Ability to exercise independent judgment; perform basic math calculations;

Operate cash register and calculate change accurately;

Work outdoors in adverse weather conditions;

Cordially provide information and directions to golf course patrons and general public;

Interact with the public and co-workers in a friendly and professional manner;

Display an attitude of cooperation with all levels of city employees, the general public and other organizations;

Communicate effectively for efficient job performance; completes assignments in a time manner;

Understand and comply with all rules, policies and regulations;

Maintain prompt and regular attendance;

Perform all essential and marginal tasks as assigned by supervisor and/or course manager with or without reasonable accommodation;

Licensing:
Possession of valid State of Idaho driver’s license and safe driving record.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Work environment will include but not limited to working inside Pro Golf Shop, inside Cart Barn and all outdoor weather conditons.
